Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
MBSR focuses on being physically, emotionally, and mental aware of what you are experiencing in the present moment. This process enables clients the opportunity to allow their mental, emotional, and physical energies to connect and reengage, which results in a sense of rebalancing.
Provides clients with the most fundamental strategy to begin the process of initiating and establishing a Relaxation Response.
Provides clients an opportunity to engage their imagination while initiating and establishing a relaxation response. This involved utilizing the bodies senses to imaging oneself in a calming, comfortable, relaxing safe place.
Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR)
Provides an way to increase Physical Calmness within the body (e.g. decrease muscle tension; decrease heart rate; decrease blood pressure).
